Regulation 17 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 (Fundamental Standards) makes it very clear to all providers that they should “assess, monitor and improve the quality and safety of the services provided in the carrying on of the regulated activity”.
Trust Care Solutions understands that no matter how good your Quality Assurance Systems maybe, having an independent person review your business is an invaluable asset. Therefore let us review your business from the same perspective as CQC but with the aim of highlighting good practice and understanding areas of improvement to build upon. Its better we understand the service before we are told about it by a regulator.
Following the site visit, we will produce a ‘visit report’ of findings and a plan of improvement. Then as agreed with you, we will offer as much or as little support as required. Our aim is to ensure that the lives of people using the service are as a minimum of a ‘good’ standard. With care providers now having to prominently publish their ratings, it is more important than ever from a business perspective that your service is fully aware of its strengths and areas of improvement and works towards being an ‘outstanding’ provider.
